Three evenings, twelve stages, forty bands from five continents: That’s the 10th International Street Music Festival in Ludwigsburg this weekend in the beautiful baroque garden of the Ludwigsburg Palace.
Especially on Saturday the weather was really great and it was fun just sitting in the grass listening to the various bands and musicians.
Each concert is about half an hour, then the bands are moving on to another stage. And while not on stage, or before the official start, many artists simply start playing anywhere in the garden. The musical spectrum reached from folklore to classical, from folk music to pop to independence. Unlike other festivals, the artists create a great proximity to the audience as only buskers can do.
