Recently I was invited to a wedding in Taiwan and used this as an excuse for a three-weeks trip. It was my first trip to Taiwan. In fact, I’ve only been to Asia once before. Those of you who follow me on Facebook already saw some photos I’ve posted during the trip. Now I finally had the time and mood to go over all the photos. One of the highlights of my latest trip to Ireland was a visit to Skellig Michael, a small island about 12 km off the coast.
Mid of July I returned to Ireland. This time together with a couple of other photographers and the help of Phase ONE. One week full of shooting, chatting and laughing.
Here are a few black and white images of some of the spots we visited during our photo-tour through the Ruhr Region last month.
Last week I spent a couple of days in Duisburg to meet a few friends from all over the country. Beeing all photographers, we were shooting all the time and had great fun.
Recently I did a trip to the Färöer Islands together with a party of other photographers. Contrary to all my expectations we were extremely lucky with the weather. Beside the first day it was mainly dry and sunny, with only a very few rains now and then.
Africa was the last continent missing on my list. But a couple of days ago, I had the chance to travel to Maputo, capital of Mozambique. There was only a little time to look around and take some photos.
Last week I spent a couple of days in Hamburg to meet a few friends from all over the country. Beeing all photographers, we were shooting all the time and had great fun.
The last two weeks I was again in Ireland to enjoy the beautyful autumn – and of course to shoot some great photographs. The first few days I spent in Killarney. After that I headed off for Dingle Peninsula.
We spent the weekend in Zhangjiajie, Hunan. The area is not really known among foreign tourists, but there are some very scenic and spectacular spots here, like Zhangjiajie Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain.
The last two days I explored Shanghai even more. After visiting Longhua Temple the day before, I went to the Jade Buddha Temple yesterday. Beeing built in 1918, it is one of the newest temples of the city. The site is a lot smaller than Longhua, but not less interesting.
I tried to escape the hurly-burly of the city today and decided to visit Longhua Temple instead. It is the largest Buddhist Temple in Shanghai and is located outside the city center. At least during the week the area is not really crowded.
