First studio shooting

What do photographers do on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon? They go into a photo studio, of course. At least, this is what I did yesterday. It was the very first time for me to shoot portraits in a studio.

Actions and Scripts in Adobe Photoshop

I wrote a small introduction about actions and scripts in Adobe Photoshop today. Every now and then I get asked about tipps for using Photoshop and automization is a popular demand.

Autumn in Ireland

The last two weeks I was again in Ireland to enjoy the beautyful autumn – and of course to shoot some great photographs. The first few days I spent in Killarney. After that I headed off for Dingle Peninsula.

Venetian Flair in Ludwigsburg

Last evening in Shanghai

The last two days I explored Shanghai even more. After visiting Longhua Temple the day before, I went to the Jade Buddha Temple yesterday. Beeing built in 1918, it is one of the newest temples of the city. The site is a lot smaller than Longhua, but not less interesting.

The Dingle Penisula

The last few days I spent on Dingle Penisula (Corca Dhuibhne). The main city Dingle (An Daingean) is a small town with a run-down but still busy fishing port, maybe the most important port in western Ireland. There are a few cosy pubs in the town, offering very good food.

Tour of the Rings – Part 2

Yesterday I did the final leg of the ring and arrived in Killarney and made a trip into the inner areas of the penisula today. Leaving Killarney, I first headed to Gap of Dunloe, a gorgeous narrow valley within Killarney National Park.
