Here are a few black and white images of some of the spots we visited during our photo-tour through the Ruhr Region last month.
I know, it may sound a bit strange to take B/W shots at a location like LaPaDu, which features stunning colored light installations at night. But I think, it works pretty well. The long-exposures at “Zeche Zollverein” are made with a +10EV filter, sometimes even combined with an additional +6EV filter. Yes, it was bright sunshine that day.
